Unfortunatley work means I'm going to miss this game, Tivvy are really starting to grind out some good results and Tuesday will be difficult make no mistake. 3 points though is a must if we realistically want to make the playoffs. Bashley are away at Kings Lynn so hopefully the Lynn will do us a favour like we did for them against Team Bath and get a win there.
If Bashley lose and we win on Tuesday, Saturday is a massive game. I would hope we get a decent attendance and that the Citizen gives us some decent coverage...

If both results go for us then Saturday is going to be massive!
I think we will be lucky to get a big attendance with Champions League on the box but we can dream I guess

Bashley's game is off according to the SL website, I think it's being played in April.
And Bob, you need to either get a new job or crack your boss's head...

Still a poor turnout, im sure there were some with valid reasons for not making it tonight but also several others who simply couldnt be arsed. Shame, this club needs them now and is doing better than we have done for years!!!

Great result and some lethal finishing. Thought we were well in command throughout.
I was very sorry to see Rosey injured, as I thought he contributed well.
The referee made a very good decision with the red card and I thought the Tivvy player, standing there as if he did not know where the dressing room was, could have behaved better.
The referee had a good game. Not the perfect game, for who does ? Tom Webb was fouled just before the Tivvy goal and that went unnoticed. But the ref made good use of the advantage and called a lot of lot of decisions just right. I don't think that it was an easy game to control, but he impressed me.

Tonight didn't feel like a 4-1 at all, we didn't play that well at all! We won at a canter still, never got out of 2nd gear which is surely a great sign.
We know that we can beat the best this league has to offer, if we produce another Team Bath/Chippenham we'll beat Bashley. Come on Boys!

Rosey bossed the midfield tonight, he was awesome until he was injured. The referee made a very good decision with the red card and I thought the Tivvy player, standing there as if he did not know where the dressing room was, could have behaved better. You must know of the legend that is Nathan Rudge - he even has his own "Nathan Rudge is a donkey" Facebook group. Au contraire I thought we played very well simply because we did the basics so well tonight. We won so much of the 50/50s and played some good simple passing football mixed with incisive balls into the wings where our pace destroyed their lardasses.
While it was a poor display from Tiverton I was pleased by our measure of control and patience, qualities that let us down in promising starts against Yate and Shortwood this season.

Whilst I was freezing cold in Kent watching Ebbsfleet play Salisbury (Flower played) it was good to see that we were winning easily. Hopefully now we are scoring goals for fun we can keep winning and the confidence should be high with our strikers.

You are SO RIGHT. To keep this squad going we do need BIGGER home gates and I would urge everyone to try and bring a friend along for Saturdays game.
The lads are doing us PROUD at the moment, now it's time to do our bit.

You were in Italy surrounded by Lavazza and Illy and you couldn't get a decent cup of coffee ?
Or are you refering to instant coffee as "decent" ?
Illy makes a great Latte when I can be bothered to load the coffee machine.

Great result last night - don't think I have seen a game where we have won so many 50/50 balls in midfield.
Rose was brilliant as was Muzzie at the back and the Pitcher/Palmer partnership looks pretty good as well - wonder if Hereford will let us keep him until the end of the season?

5th March 2008, 12:38 PM
tremendous spine last night - Muzzie as inspirational as ever this season (I've never seen him play so well), Matt Nose bossing the mid, and Pitcher / Palmer terrorising their central defence. Though Jack in particular had good game last night, seemed to have some extra pace and trickery.
I also hope that Neil manages to keep one or two of Smithy's skill spots from the first half, in particular one where he ghosted through two defenders towards me filming at pitch level.
My apologise for some pretty poor filming last night. I realised that I had the camera on standby not record when the second goal (and maybe even the first) goal went in, so there's probably lots of shots of players before throw ins, fouls etc. Got our third though, as I knew exactly where Jack was going to angle it.
Tried to make up for my ineptitude with a little filmlette at half time but not sure Neil will be allowed to show it!

Would def have been there last night had it not been for the mundane reason that I'm currently on holiday in Pembrokeshire. Fantastic coastal walking, by the way. Still, took my laptop only to check the City results and banter on this forum. Brilliant result, against an in-form side.
Will def be there on Saturday and hopefully for most of the remaining games..

Top win last night. As Simon said, we never had to exert too much effort, we were just naturally awesome .
Well doen to Jack on his 2 goals and an excellent finish by Marcus for the second.
Tivvy were surprisingly poor and Rudge is an animal (donkey? camel?) and deserved his red card. They never really threatened.
Thought Rosey was man of the match and hope he gets better soon. We looked fantastic all over the pitch, except at left back. Minimum disrespect to Reidy, as he's a fantastic player in central midfield, but not sure he's a left back. It's our only weak spot at the moment, and to sign an out-and-out left wing-back would make us invincible I reckon!
Bring on the Bash.
