Great day for Tottenham Hotspur! It's nice to see them win something as a neutral, they really deserve more success than they get!

Well done.

Congratulations are without a doubt for the Spurs.

"Lilywhites!" - That's indeed stirred memories . . . .

As a lad in the 1940s I used to walk about three to four miles to White Hart Lane home games to stand in the boys enclosure when the cry used to be "Come on you Lilywhites".

Don't you mean the M'Boys enclosure?

Yes a wonderful day for us Spurs fans.

Being both a Spurs fan and a Yate Town fan I certainly know what it is to suffer for my love of football, which is why every little success is so keenly savoured.

Spurs have a new spirit thanks to Ramos and now know they can compete with the best. Today's victory and stuffing the Arse recently plus 2 creditable performances against Man Utd are testimony to that.

However, there's nothing like winning some silverware to really make people sit up and take notice.

Maybe not this season, but I believe Spurs under Ramos will win more trophies.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY WHITES!!!

Is Weston Branch ok or is he still celebrating?

Yesterday made up for all those years of hurt. Ok so many people have told me today that it's only a little cup but if that is the case then how come it's been won by the teams in top four so much recently, how come we were playing Chelsea yesterday in the final. To get where we did yesterday we had to beat Man City at their ground (at the time we were the only team to win there this season), with 10 men. Then we had to beat Arse over 2 legs in the semi final, yeah yeah it was only their kids (well Gallas has been acting like a spoilt kid recently), and then we had to stand tall against Chelsea in the Final (I just wish that wall had stood a little taller, and longer for Drogba's free kick).

Kingo I really do feel like I rolled out of the pub where the night was spent celebrating to go straight to work. The bit between leaving the pub to me waking up this morning was all a blur.

As for Berbatov's penalty - all I remember thinking at the time was please not Robbie Keane (that miss against the gooners still hurts)!!

Oh and for all you Liverpool supporters - the night in the pub was spent singing good old football songs, one of which was extolling the virtues of Stevie G over Fat Frank

BTW does anyone have any spare aspirin

Sorry Noah. It's Liverpool for me!

But congratulations anyway. Spurs played great and any team that stops Chelsea winning anything is okay in my books!

Spurs are actually my second team, and its fair to say that I suffered quite a bit at work on Monday with what I like to call the hangover from hell. Dealing with Motor claims was the last thing I needed, alas it was all worth it. Next the UEFA cup, then the FA Cup next year.
