What a performance, this was by far City's best performance of the season. Some of the long ball passing would have graced the Premier League, the difference in the team today was incredible; there was confidence, commitment and concentration.
Before starting the game, Rob told the players to go out and enjoy; and they looked like they were.
We hit the crossbar twice, Hayley missed one deep in the second half, Vicky Fyfe made three great saves, but couldn't repeat her penalty save of last week.
Joint player of the match was Sarah and Hayley, I couldn't have made a choice; they were all outstanding; but I am really pleased young Sarah got it. She has played in several positions for us, and over the last couple of games her confidence seems to have grown. She scored our goal today with a cross I think, that bounced over everyones head and went in softly; but they all count.
Warden Hill equalised with a penalty. I thought we had two good penalties denied by the referee, one when Laura Meheran was clean through, she was clipped from behind, but being honest didn't go down.
Hayley deserved the joint player award, some of her running was fantastic.
I'd be here all day telling you how good each individual was, they were all magnificent, it was a tremendous team performance, that deserved the three points.
Well done Ladies I was really proud of you today, and I know Rob was too.
