Nah personally i'm more worried about that number 10 of yours with the bit of pace although I can't see any of the Yate players today being a major problem as City rack up another win on their way to the play offs

Let's not forget what Whitts did for us a couple of seasons ago, and give him a good reception this afternoon.
I agree with Drakey to a point, but he didn't have that many chances this season, either to get in the side or, when he did get in the side, on the pitch. I think we all know he's a better player that than. Let's just hope he doesn't feel the need to make a point against us today.

What makes you say that Drakey? I always got the impression that he loved the club and fans and remember him standing on the T-end when he was injured rather than going to watch the scum!
I reckon a couple of Whittington songs before the game to show our appreciation but once the game starts it's war and he is one of them

i'm not too worried really. He did well for us in his first spell, but then in his second spell wasn't very special, nore at mangotsfield at obv not at weston either! As soon as big ash roughs him up a bit he will cower away!

I agree with the form recently but it would be sods law for him to get a hatrick - as long as Pitch gets another 5 we will be ok

Michael has been in good form lately, he scored a couple of goals in his last game and was voted star man so if he does play he'll have to be watched closely.

It'll be an interesting one to be sure.
He's a top player on his day, and he could certainly outpace any of our defence.
I'd be playing a deep defensive line to make sure Whitts and Asynwah don't get behind it.

I didn't think that pace was one of Whitts' better attributes, maybe over six yards in the penalty area but not over distance. Surely his strength is his finishing?

Couldn't catch a cold today though, no chance of a finish

I thought he did ok and put himself about a bit. Whitts will do well there.

I didn't think he did that much either, was far more worried with their number 11 had the ball as he looked their main threat

did whitts actually touch the ball in the first half? Quality when he clapped us as he walked off, then suddenly remembered, oh i better clap the yate fan too!
