First & Second half highlights now online.

A big thank you goes out to Shandy for filming these, he did a pretty good job considering that he'd never used the camcorder before and even managed to nail the first two goals. Even though he didn't get the third he did get a great "alternative" for it which will still bring a smile to people's faces.

Some interesting running commentary too, including some foul language so I advise those who are easily offended and those who are reading / viewing this at work to either not watch it or turn the sound right down.

As for her old man in the second half, a foul mouthed Roy Orbison.

That what absolutely fantastic Shandy! Probably one of the funniest video's I've ever seen. The interviews of the supporters at the start of the game and the filming of the fans were top draw!

Well done Shandy!

100th Post!

Cracking action there Shandy. Louis Theroux had better watch out, i can just see it now, "Shandy's Weird Weekend's". I reckon a cable channel would snap you up in a flash!

Cheers chaps.

Being a perfectionist the next time I do it I will need to try and keep the camera from shaking so much, and try not to cover distances so quickly as it throws out the focus. I think I was getting a bit better with the zoom as the game moved on, and as I get more comfortable I could perhaps add a bit more dialogue.

Saw more of the game though this clip than I did Monday but I did enjoy it in a strange sort of way. I don't have a game on Staurday so will be at MP for the visit of Wealdstone. Neil - If you need anyone to do the camera I'll be happy to help out and I promise to try and keep the filming to a qualitied minimum in order to save your editing time. Let me know

Funny you should say that Woody, as I've often been likened to a cross between Louis Theroux and Peter Beardsley

What a strange bunch they are believe me.

They are part of the reason why Ciren have been nominated for 'community/family club of the year' :D Get voting!!!

Sorry guys - this has gone too far. You of all clubs should have more sensitivity, given the savage 'mocking' you got just a few sad years ago ... you know exactly what I mean.

Take the mick about our footy by all means - we ain't very good this year.

But if you want to get a reputation as bullies and comment on folks who very obviously don't have all their chairs at home then you just carry on.

Just don't expect any decent, right minded folk to applaud your wit.

Nearly a good 'un, that :notworthy: Kev knows what it is about and can handle it :D

You know what I mean, though. That young girl gets enough of a hard time in her life as it is.

Not saying the behaviour is excusable. But it needs to be handled with a bit of sensitivity.

Mocking her in a public medium makes it apparently acceptable for those of a 'mob mindset' then to pile in. Not on in this day and age. OK?

Let me knowThats very good of you Shandy, saves me begging someone else to have a go. I recommend you take a position on the fire escape like I did for the Rugby game because it makes it much easier to film and looks much better to view. Of course, still do your interviews before, after the game and at half time cos they were great!

That young girl gets enough of a hard time in her life as it is.I'm sorry Ian, she really doesn't help herself by acting like that whether she has a full set or not. How do you think Lyndon must've felt lying on the ground thinking that his injury curse had come back only to hear "There's a baby on the pitch............. baby........... baby"??

I think Pylonsider's point is that she CAN'T help herself...

Still, i found it very funny but a bit harsh to lay into a couple of people who clearly lack 'gate-keepers' up stairs.

Some people obviously don't read Hello magazine enough ;).

As for the rest of it Shandy- I've seen funnier things come out of my arsehole! :p

Rubbish. Whoever complained really needs to grow a sense of humour. If it's you Ian (Pylonsider), I think you're letting yourself down a bit.

Everybody, no exceptions, opens themselves up to public opinion by going to a public place with so many people in. People are always going to form a point of view.

I'll try and avoid filming the afflicted at Saturday's game, so don't expect to see Joe on film or in fact half of our support.

Does anyone mind if I interview Phil Gough on his 50 greatest moments in football.

Shandy, if you interveiw Mr Gough it will take up all the tape with no room left for the game!

Joe - fully agree with you on the basic point - if folk want to shout daft stuff then take the flak.

Or, as in our case this season, daft stuff on the pitch generates open house on us Ciren fans ... but, that's part of the game and it never gets nasty.

And I do agree with Neil's basic point - she was giving Lyndon grief which was basically unpleasant. I'd seen the lad had landed awkwardly. I knew exactly what had happened.

I think the folks around them in the stand put the pair right on that point pretty quickly - I was just at the edge of the stand so heard what happened.

But, important but and Shandy would not have known it, the kid is only 12. Fine, in some ways, if the postings had not alerted folks to the behaviour. But they did. So I had to ask Neil to delete it. Technically, her dad has to give permission for her image to appear publically.

Nowt to do with my sense of humour, or not. Just at the moment, the only humour available is gallows humour ...... hard to take but we'll just have to bounce back.

If there's genuine issues their Ian then apologies on my part for the mocking, but I was stood quite close by and it was quite embarrasing. Even caught a conversation of a couple with teenage children who decided to move to the other side of the ground I think.

Neil

I agree, they were vocal throughout the footage that Shandy shot. Does no-one think to ask them to restrain themselves in an area where there are minors? After all, if this 12 year old can be afforded protection surely every other 12 year old in the ground should enjoy those same rights.

74 UK and Neil are both right - I was stood quite close to you 74 so you heard what I heard.

And yes Neil, don't think we haven't "tried" to guide that pair ... if you want to come up the hill and help me get the message across I'd be more than grateful

Not easy, believe me.

But, my objection was the developing wave of mocking on this thread. Which, thank you folks, has diminished. Time this one was put to bed. We've got enough problems as it is
