Conf South (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_conf/conference_south_table/default.stm)

It looks as though we'll be having a trip to the seaside next season, I can't see them pulling themselves out of that hole. For those of you that like "collecting" new grounds, you're going to be bloody disappointed with this one :D

Isn't Weston a soulless concrete ground like Cirencester?

I remember passing it on multiple occasions but i've never been inside the ground.

Nothing like bringing more atmosphere to the Southern League is there. :(

At least it is by the sea!

It's not concrete, it's metal!

Weston have moved their ground in the last few years. The old ground now being a housing estate with some excuse for a wire helicopter in the front. Though I've considered it a few times I haven't been to see Weston play so don't know what the ground is actually like inside but although it looks quite big from the outside, what I've caught of the inside whilst passing hasn't looked that impressive. As for being near the sea, well I guess so if you don't mind a half hour brisk walk, which is what I intend doing when we play away there next season (though I may regret that when it comes to the walk home). Personally I'm hoping they do go down just for the fact it will be an away game on the doorstep.

What are their crowds like?

Not sure on that one - don't bother reading the local paper as there's no mention of city in there

How can a team survive in the league above with 222 average!

The teams coming up aint great either, Bashley average 247, with a high of 473 whilst Brackley average 203 with their highest being literally just over 400. Both the grounds don't look that great either.

Personally I hope Bromsgrove manage to come up as its near, their ground aint bad and they have a half decent support (388 average)

Didnt the Ladies play at weston last season in a cup final Ifim right the ground is a metalframe structure with a stand at one end seen better.

I managed to get there the year it opened and there was a low seated stand along the one side with a reasonable sized covered terrace behind one goal. However there was nothing but a concrete wall along the other two sides and I believe nothing has changed since although the social club wasn't too bad. If you go by train don't make the mistake of thinking the floodlights next to the station are those of the football club, its the local rugby club and its was a good thing I noticed this as I was about to part with some of my hard earned cash at the turnstile

The Ladies played in the PST Cup Final there last year. They have a covered metal terrace at one end of the ground, a tiny stand with seating, and some very nice concrete walls, the bar is a dive too.

At risk of getting kicked out of town. The whole town is a dive

On the plus side, they have some enthusiastic and friendly people running their Supporters Club. I didn't think the bar was too bad either!

It's looking virtually guaranteed that we'll be swapping the Concrete Corinium for the Seaside now...

Hopefully Jason can use his new role as Southern League secretary to ensure that we play Weston away in August or April and on a Saturday, not a cold Tuesday night in the middle of February.

Thats probably one of the best away days you can have isn't it?

Well, if Newport Isle of Wight are promoted to the Premier Division we'd have to travel by ferry, just imagine how fun that would be
