With the cospians paying £35M, is it too much for him?

Its a lot, but if you have it why not spend it? I think he has the potential to be another drogba/ibrahimovich, I also think there's no point in comparisons to other high price transfers because the situation varies from club to club. At this time for Liverpool he was worth 35m to them. I do however find it funny how people still question the value of Darren Bent when he is a guaranteed 20+ goals a season in the top level in the land.

I like what I've seen of him and certainly don't think they could've put bananaman in a wig and spent a fiver instead.

Have they actually lost that pretty striker of theirs?

Looks like Nando is going to Chelsea, just waiting to see how Andy Carrolls medical goes.

Gutted he's going to be honest, but if any player doesn't want to stay at your club then it's best to get rid of them.

35 million quid for a thick Geordie who thumps his team mates in training, is banned from most clubs in Newcastle and was recently living in a hotel/team mates house after constant battles with drink and hanging out the back of peroxide blonde slags.

I'm sure he'll be a massive hit at Liverpool.

If there's one thing that has been entertaining its that Facebook has been so unintentionally amusing, all these fake Gloucester scousers slagging off Torres all the sudden. Fickle bunch that lot.
