U18's - Pershore Town vs Gloucester City

Next game for the Under 18's .....weather permitting.... will be at 7:30 on Wednesday 2nd Jan at King George's Playing Fields, King George's Way, Pershore against Pershore Town.

Alex Cuthbert put City ahead in the first half but Pershore struck back to level things in the second half.

There was a sad end to the game which was abandoned after 84 minutes when Dan Gittings went over, used his arm to save himself and broke it pretty badly. He was taken to Worcester hospital. :frown:

Thanks to the Pershore people and match officials who responded magnificently to the crisis.

Danny left Worcester hospital for Gloucester and hopefully will be back home tomorrow. It was, as Dave said, a very nasty break.

Danny is a great lad, a good player and will hopefully be back to full fitness before too long
