Players v Supporters Match

Just to let you know the new Pete Chase Cup has arrived this morning, ready for the game to be played.

The reason there is a new one, is that I had approached Sandra last year, about using the Cup for my Club Ladies Tournament as it hadn't been played for, for three years. We felt we would rather see it being played for than sat on my dresser getting dusty; last year it was won by Swindon Supermarine; my team being runners up.

Then a request was made a while later to play for the Cup in the supporters/players match; I have therefore made sure that Pete's good name will continue within the Club, with the new Cup.
Hope everyone approves.

Hoping to have a word with Boris asap. With the rearranged County Cup and the Team 'bonding' holiday at the end of the season, we may have to play this game as a preseason friendly !
