With all due modesty I have produced a booklet all by myself which is published today entitled 'The Pioneers: Gloucester City Association Football Club 1883-1914 - League Football Statistics'.
It celebrates the struggle to form a major football team in Gloucester and is a tribute to those men who pioneered the early days and who should not be forgotten.
With the 125th Anniversary of the formation of a Gloucester Association Football Club impending in March 2008 I thought it appropriate to do my little bit to celebrate this fact.
It will be on sale at The Club Shop on match days priced £4.99 but if you wish to obtain a copy through the post send a cheque (for £6.49 p+p inc.) made payable to TRD CLARK and post it to TigerTimbo Publications, 2 Rosemary Close, Abbeydale, Gloucester GL4 5TL.
I am making not a cent from this exercise and all profits will go to the Gloucester City Supporters Trust.

Yes, well done, The.

I must say I admire your academic qualities, your deep and thought provoking debates, as well as your rangistic use of the English language. Your book will sit proudly between my well thumbed editions of Rude Food and Roger's Profanisaurus.

All the more surprising then that a man of such intellectual qualification and ergo moral background is the father of that cheating little git Simon who has quite literally fixed his way to the top of the prediliction league.

I hope you get your cat o'nine tails out and whip the scumbag to an inch of his miserable life.

Mr Love Machine
As Plato (for it is he) once opined 'A boy is, of all wild beasts, the most difficult to manage'.

You'll be glad to know that so far, everyone has gained some points on me so far this week.
