BGB Youth Challenge Cup

Just wondering, has the draw been made for this competition? And if we are which Group have we been drawn in?

If this is the competition I think it is, City were offered the opportunity to play in the competition earlier in the season. However, like so many other things, decisons needed to be made at a time when we did not have a ground and frankly there was doubt as to how we would be able to compete in the league and competitions we were already entrered in.

We consulted with the league and made it clear that we would be interested in supporting such a competition in future, but at that time were unable to make the comitments needed. So, this year at least, we will not be competing.

To put this in context, we are / have played in the FA Youth Cup, Midland Floodlit League, Midland Floodlit League Cup and the County Cup and already have a very full schedule with few gaps.

The League, as has been the case throughout, were understanding of our position and hopefully this competition is one we will be able to give serious consideration to playing in next year.
