A game we dominated, though Kev made two great saves. Was impressed with Smithy and Morford's work rate, Noakes looky good going forward, Webby gave it his all when he came on. All in all I'm very satisfied to be in the next round.

Went mad when that goal went in, ball across the box which Morford (i think) missed with the goal gaping but there was Sir Allard to tap it in and make my day. Get in!!!!!

Bring on Oxford away!

Superb win, and thats just my victory on the golden goal!

An inspired substitution by Tim, bring on Alex, hover at the near post and tap in when Morf misses :D

Does anyone know if the draw is on a National basis now? So could we possibly draw Gateshead away?

Any Conference side would be fine, I reckon we could cause a scalp.

Knowing our luck though, Bath City away anyone? :D

I think theres a north / south divide.

I'll take FGR, Torquay, Oxford or Woking :)

Thought here we go again, another bloody replay! We dominated the game and thoroughly deserved the win! We look so much sharper now and it was nice to see a lack of the hoof and hope game-which Uxbridge seemed to be doing. Also how fat were two of their players??!

Dunno about Woking but the other three would be great. AFC Wimbledon also won so are still in the hat. Knowing our luck it'll probably be Kings Lynn away! But still heres hoping for a 6,000 crowd at Oxford and all the glory hunters latching on

the car got rammed on thursday night, so I can't lift the drum at the moment - but we win to the sound of no drums...?

This has to be the best city performance that i have seen all season and had we been able to finish a few more of our chances, then we could have easily won by a larger scoreline.

Great save by kev early in the second half that seemed to change the game for us, and how was that penalty not given?

All in all a good day at the office, and a very much deserved win!

I'm a big Michael Noakes fan, and I hope he can be persuaded to recognise his worth to the team. He has tremendous natural ability. I like the way he approaches defending by getting to the ball first, and his passing is often incisive. Noakesy is one of those players whose first instincts are to pass the ball around and we need to collect as many of those together as we can.

You have to respect players' entitlements to make the decisions that they believe suit them and as a fan you might not know them well enough to understand, but I really hope Michael stays.

and FGR who were 3-2 up at half time lost 5-3 to 2nd from bottom Drolsen :D :tosser:

we played droylsden not 'drolsen'. no fleetwood today because of a sick bug but pleasing to know that our next striker, carey-bertram could score us a hat-trick - just defending needs tightening up.

good win for you guys and much needed if you are to get some much needed money in. hope you get oxford or torquay as if you do end up having to go out it might as well be against a team that will bring a minimum of 1000 fans away. three points at home to cirencester in midweek and you'll be on a run nearly as good as the one droylsden ended today.

Good to see us win today although I was sort of hoping for a replay so I could go and watch ;-).
Very surprised to see FGR lose to a poor team, mind you Northwich managed to win today as well so prehaps it was one of those days.
Also Tim was wrong when he said there is no live football on the TV on Thursday as Woking v Ebbsfleet is on Setanta, a game I will actually be at cheering on my now second team. Which brings me on to suggest that Ebbsfleet would be a very interesting draw in the next round.

Great to see that we went through yesterday - bit more prize money as well which is always welcome.

Looking forward to the draw tomorrow - FGR would be great for the attendance and if it is an 'away' game I guess they would have to pay the bill for stewards etc???

The game against Cirencester should be a good one and hopefully we can get three points and a decent crowd for that one.

I have to say that the atmosphere generated by the goal and the final whistle was fantastic. Check it out on Jack's video later on :)

Certainly a rip-roaring reception where I sat - in between Alex Allard's two sponsors !

I think his female fan club was there too - they'd have been pleased!

This was the first pic I took after he scored, it's OOF but I love the reactions of the players in the back of the shot. Says alot for the team spirit :)

From the sublime (Rotherham) to the rediculous (Droysden)!!!

I don't see any reason why we could not beat them, I would rather we stayed clear of other teams in the conference.

Gutted to lose in the last minute but thought you deserved the win Saturday. Always looked more up for it without truly dominating on a day when both keepers made two great saves each. Have to say it was our worst performance for some time - didn't see enough of the ball and didn't keep it on the occasions we did have it. Definitely missed Nico (suspended) and our very own Warner Bros (cup tied) but was disappointed as there was enough quality out there to have given a better account of ourselves.

Good luck with securing the new ground and for the rest of the season, especially in this afternoons draw. As for us it's back to the league and, hopefully, a run that will lead to promotion. Apart from the result we had a great day Saturday. Hope to see you next season.

Cheers!!!

After seeing the video, who set up our goal AGAIN? Super Smithy!

I didn't think he had his best match on Saturday, but he can always get in behind the defence. We wouldn't of scored without him.

Also top marks to Kev for a truly brilliant reaction save from their diving header. And a lot of credit to Alex A for a goal finish under a lot of pressure.

Neil

Cheer Mark, good luck to you guys too. I thought we were on top for most of the game without scoring and you gave us a couple of scares in the second half. From where I was stood I feared that the header had gone in but they don't call Kev "Super Kev" for nothing. Actually, I don't think they even call him that ;)
