At eleven o'clock this morning I was in a supermarket, where only about 25% of the customers stopped when they were invited to join the staff of the store in a silence to mark Rememberance Day.

I have never felt passionately about this, but it did seem disappointing. I can't say what happened at the tills because I was at the back of the store.

I stopped myself, and thought of one of our supporters, (15 + years of following the club). He had stood next to me at Clevedon yesterday and today he was marching along Whitehall to the Cenotaph. I bet he was proud as punch.

I've worn my poppy with pride at work, I noticed a few of our fans wore them at the games too. Also Sunderland has shirts on yesterday with poppies printed on them.

I wonder what Kettering did?

No we mean Great country. You only need to look at third world countries like Wales to realise how lucky we are
