Unfortunately neither of the Uxbridge fans that have registered have confirmed their email addresses so I can't activate their accounts :(

Maybe the UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship and they're not Uxbridge fans but Cage fighting enthusiasts.

That was my initial thought.
But, if you click on his profile under 'Team supported; it says Uxbridge

Thanks Neil!!!
Here's a little info on us:
Currently 6th in the SW division and playing some good football too.The 'dirty team' tag comes from a couple of seasons ago (quite rightly probably) but the whole regime at the club has changed since.
Our crowds just about double Hillingdon's this season and a fair percentage of Uxbridge fans travel - I would guess around 30-50 on a regular Saturday, depending on the locality. Being a cup game could see the figure on the low end although such an attractive fixture could enhance it. Although fiercely loyal, 'Uxbridge Fighting Club' - probably not! We do, however, have a reputation as sexist alcoholics which I'd like to refute. At the same time I'd like to request that the bar is fully stocked and your best barmaids reserved for next Saturdays fixture.
Pre season rumours of an official website remain rumours to this date and we're not holding our breath. Unfortunately, none of us can be bothered to get an unofficial one up and running so we continue to rant on anyone elses who'll have us. Thanks for the opportunity!
Anyway looking forward to a good atmosphere and a potentially great cup tie. Cheers.

Is there a River Ux, and if so does the bridge still exist?

Good question. Not that I've heard of though.
Someone asked if the two sides had ever met. I'm sure in the 30 years I've been watching Uxbridge the answer's no. Personally, whilst visiting the Forest of Dene around 15 years back, I'm sure I saw Gloucester play a pre season game against Lydney (???) which you won easily (4-0 ???). Possibly?
We also played Stroud away in the Trophy around the same time and were soundly beaten 3-1 on a day best remembered for us winning the half time raffle; a bottle of scotch that lasted all of five minutes. A real old awayday on a hired mini-bus, most of it remains a bit of a blur. Except I recall we had to send out a search party for one of our number who was belatedly found asleep in someone's garden (alas Sammy is no longer allowed to attend away matches). This, I beleive, is not the same ground that Forest Green and yourselves reside now.
On that subject, good luck in the ongoing efforts towards securing a new ground in Gloucester. Saw the reports during the floods earlier this year and know how I'd feel if it happened at my club.

I doubt that the River Ux would flood as badly as the River Severn did ;)

Not our barmaids mate they are FGR's. You would get service with a smile with ours. If you intend drinking that much mate you might wanna take out a second mortgage as they charge well ott prices. £2.80 for a pint.

Neil:
You're probably right mate, although with you're reference to clubs of our vicinity being 'Cockney' in a previous thread, maybe it's the Thames we need to watch out for!
Clifty:
Christ that's more expensive than our place, the prices of which we moan about constantly. Still, suppose they have to fund conference status somehow.

Just so as to avoid confusion, AFAIC anyone east of Birdlip is a Cockney ;)

Given your proximity to the Welsh border in comparison with ours to the Bow Bells, you may want to review that last statement. ;)
