As you know, the lads are through to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup. They are playing Swansea City on Wednesday, kick off 7:30 away at the St Helens stadium on Mumbles Road.
A coach is leaving Tesco at the Cattle Market at 3:30 pm and there are a number of seats available for supporters. Get in touch and get 'em while they're hot!

Unfortunately not, Neil. The firsts groundshare the Liberty Stadium with an egg chasing team and their youth squad aren't allowed to play there.

Despite the score our under 18's can hold their heads high after this match against a fully professional side who train every day.
Swansea were bigger, fitter and had obviously been coached and disciplined well by Youth Director David Moss (ex player with Doncaster, Chesterfield, Scu'nthorpe, Partick Thistle, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Ayr and Swansea City). The lads never let their heads down though, competed right to the end and were visibly shattered by their tremendous efforts. The ref Kevin Morris of Hereford complemented their attitude and determination to play good football.
It was a historic night for the team and a tremendous learning experience. The league games won't hold any fears for them after this.
Simon will be providing a full report for the Citizen after working with the professional reporter from the local Swansea paper.

Bad luck boys, it was a cup run to be proud of though

The scoreline doesn't reflect it, but the boys did us all very proud last night. To quote Ken Blackburn it was like 'The Alamo' but the sheer guts and bravery the lads showed was fantastic to see.
No doubt its been a fantastic cup run for the club. The last time we reached this far the side included players such as Webby, Smithy and Thommo...a team that brought us to the Quarter Finals of the FA Trophy...lets hope that this side can be just as successful.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a great experience for me personally, the Swansea reporter gave me valuable pointers throughout which I'm greatful for. A big thanks to Dave Hatton for sorting the coach and travel arrangements out

Simon, was it you covering the game for the local paper back up there?
If so, I was the guy on the laptop - I'm the reporter for the Swansea City Youth Team for the Swans' official web-site and matchday programme.
Fair play you don't see anyone travelling to cover their teams in the Puma Youth Alliance, and we've played the likes of Luton Town, Bournemouth and Ch*ltenham, so a big well done for making the effort to come down to south west Wales for the game.
Was also good to speak to another reporter from another club, it's a contacts game journalism so it's nice to make aquaintances from other parts of the country.
Take it easy,
Owain

Yeah it was.
Thanks for the kind words, it was great to finally speak to another reporter from an opposing Club. I haven't met one yet from covering Gloucester City Youth team matches, even though we've played teams from Hereford United and Forest Green Rovers.
You tend to find at all levels we're a very well supported (and reported on!) club.
Also, Cheers for keeping us update with the Champions League scores
