It's telling me this video is no longer available, Neil - or am I doing something wrong ?

No Phil, it's just not loaded fully onto the Youtube site yet and they haven't approved it but it will be in a matter of minutes. Not much more breath-holding to do :)

Very good Neil, especially considering it was a night match.
If you pause it with around 3.22 to go, you can see Wilko get a mouthful of elbow.
Also, I thought our goal was a bit scrappy when I watched it live, but seeing it there, it was a good counter attack with 8 or 9 passes leading up to a deft finish by Richards. Very nice.
I just Youtube had a slow motion button.

I just Youtube had a slow motion button.I fully intend to have more of a play around with the videos that I'm going to make in future to include replays and commentary but these are early days and thats literally edited with my dvd/hdd/vcr machine and uploaded straight to youtube.
Talking of commentary, you have to applaud my ability to keep the camera still whilst celebrating Ricco's goal :D

Well worth waiting for : a great addition to the enjoyment, and available so quickly. Well done, mate.
It was a smart goal we scored, as I was aware at the time. Merthyr wags (no, not wives and girlfriends) thought it funny to see Adie Harris come on, but we all had the last laugh there. He simply raised the game, and every touch of his was quality, bar one - and he was furious with himself for that.
At most grounds you can wait in the queue for chips and still watch the game, but that isn't so at Merthyr and so I missed Ricco's own goal - but how can you hold him responsible for that ?! Good chips though, and then the equaliser. Well done, boys. It's not easy coming from a goal down at Penydarren.

Well done. Neil. I get emotional watching the City, so it's great to see how good our team actually is. Adie Harris is a legend.

Adie Harris is a legend.
He should be Knighted for services to football.

Neil, you've done some great things in terms of City media and archives, but for me this sits proudly at the top of the tree. Absolutely cracking, if you can fit this in as a regular feature in your already busy schedule then fandabidosee.
Just one question, who's going to take the photos?

Just one question, who's going to take the photos?
I was thinking the same?

I'll keep taking the photos if someone wants to volunteer to shoot the video, it's not as hard as it might look.
Although sadly I suspect the queue of volunteers won't exactly be stretching into Sudmeadow Road :(

I'll do one, as long as you allow me to do a commentary with it

Just playing around with Windows Movie Maker and I've done a slow motion clip of our goal, I'll have a go at the Merthyr one tomorrow (I'm sure Lyndon will love to see that one over and over!)

I'll do one, as long as you allow me to do a commentary with itIt can't be any more frightening than me saying "Yesssss...... get in there" in slo-mo, it sounds like it's from the Blair Witch Project :D

From someone who can't get to many games it would be fantastic if you were to keep doing this Neil as it was great to watch that. The only minor thing I would say is I thought it could have been trimmed down abit more

Excellent, Neil. Just a pity about the Penydarren floodlights.
It certainly wasn't as cold watching the video as it was standing behind the goal......or perched precariously up on the gantry.

Well done Neil
As Dave says mind- pretty cold at ground level too!

We had just too many players running into good positions for Merthyr to be able to handle. Just look at the boy Harris, for example.

Excellent work, Neil. What a lot of ground Rico makes up after giving the ball to Coxy!
Actually, that reminds me: one City fan behind the goal, when Coxy nicked the ball of Adie's toes to set up the cross, despaired: "F@*&king hell, Coxy! what are you going to do with that?"
I won't name the City fan in case I embarrass him, but Joe knows who I'm talking about.

What a fantastic addition to your coverage Neil. For entire matches to be taped could help out some of the City exiles alot. Also it may also help the teams performance on the pitch by Tim Harris being able to use the tapes for analysis etc.
Great Work Neil :)

The quality of the own goal won't be good enough for broadcast I wouldn't have thought mate.
