I'm throwing this open to a vote, owing to our new found "friendship" do you think that their fans should be allowed to post on here?

Yes, so long as their banter doesn't become abuse, and they don't become boringly repetitive. Neil can always have the right to ban them.

I'm sure there will be the odd loon who goes too far but have no doubt they will soon be barred, so can't see any prob. Will be good value to get som banter going! :-)

Debate and banter can only improve the forum. Just ban anyone who oversteps the mark.

Yes allow them on, but practise 'extreme intolerance' if fatuous inanity changes into being ' a total xxxx'.
Given the (lack of) tolerance on the 'Nest' regarding my use of the phrase 'banana rapist' I think this an appropriate strategy.

After our massacre of them at their (our) gaff, I found myself after several posts which weren't overly offensive but mainly sarcastic humour, being unable to log back in...
If Neil wishes to be an internet Hitler so to speak with regards to the Chelt fans, than I will look the other way to his Golden Valley holocaust.

Yes but the first mention of 'Park football' and they should all be banned.

I agree we should allow them on our Forum, after all it may well encourage them to come and support us. You can always block the troublemakers.

Don't see why they can't be allowed, since we'll be sharing their ground. Provided its only friendly banter, however.

None of them brave enough yet. I'm not sure how long this amnesty will last....

No problem with them on our forum as long as they enter into intelligent debate, I don't see much difference in some of the comments on our forum or theirs to be honest

Seeing COF is paid for by Neil I should think he should be the arbirator.
The Cheltenhan fan who has been posting on COF has been fine hasn't he? As everyone else seems to be saying, they could be welcome unless anyone spoils the applecart and then it would up to Neil.

Jake, was that Simon22? If so, he was actually quite interesting.
Don't force them on, you never know when they'll get really annoying.

Nice new forum...hope we can have some fun.
Good of Neil to ask the Forum members if they wish to have Cheltenham fans in here.

Yes of course, let them see how proper fans conduct and run their forum !
The word is inclusive (whatever that means) in these PC times!

I think yes, but they have to go if there is any trouble making. If they are all like Simon22 then fine let them in.

I voted "Yes" because this is called the City Open Forum, as long as they do not post anything which could get us legally in trouble, offensive etc. Then let them see how this forum works for the benefit of Gloucester City. There are hundreds of City fans on here, we often don't agree (in fact Clifty never agrees with me), but all fans are entitled to their opinion. If the text on their posts are going to be changed to make them difficult to read, then there is no point, a waste of time them registering.
Cheltenham Town Football Club will always be our main rivals, but it is time to put some of the silliness on both sides away. But Cheltenham fans beware if you start posting deflamatory, illegal, offensive posts, do not be surprised if your posts are deleted or your accounts suspended.

Despite saying this looks like I had a funny moment and ticked 'no'! Just to confirm, that should be a yes.
